UM Toastmasters Joint Meeting with PJ Bilingual Toastmasters Club!

The UM Toastmasters Club and PJ Bilingual Toastmasters Club had a joint meeting on 

28th of April 2015. It was a fun and memorable event as UM Toastmasters Club 

welcomed their guests with open arms. 

The purpose of joint meeting is to learn from each other’s experience

Share unique ideas , find better ways of conducting meetings and 

add new people to play roles.

Big and bright venue was filled with great numbers of participants who came to attend 

meeting for other clubs.












Staring the Joint Meeting!!!


Joint meeting got a great start when the enthusiastic host of meeting, 
DTM Victor Ong took the charge of stage.
TME leaded the meeting with a strong grip, he had a great knowledge and elaborated the benefits of toastmasters to audiences.
TME added light-hearted humor and smooth flow between each item on the program. From start till the end he provided a great show.

1st Session --> Impromptu Speech Session 

TME CC Jacky Wong.

The TTM  CC, Jacky Wong had a list of fun and interesting topics of his choice with him. He challenges members and guests to participate in the impromptu session.

2nd Session  -- > Project Speech Session


Speaker TM, Wing Ng.
Wing Ng the first speaker of the evening did fourth speech from CC manual Titled, 
"Why Reading Is Fun?"
In her speech she talked about the importance of reading and she encouraged
 audience to read.

Speaker ACS ALB, SK Dhaw Jhang.
Second Speaker of the evening ACS ALB, SK Dhaw Jhang, also did his fourth speech from CC manual - How to Say It, entitled,
 "A Proud Sarawakian". A powerful speaker used good language and drew a beautiful picture of Sarawak.

Speaker CC, Nur Shafinas.  
Third speaker CC, Nur Shafinas did her speech no 1 from the Story Telling manual.
She did her animated presentation on "The Children's Sea". Her passion filled moving story entertained the audience and caught their attention.

All speakers of joint meeting gave us an educational talk with a huge effort added in.

With that Project Speech Session Ended 



3rd Session  -- The Evaluation Session

Evaluation Session of this meeting was led by GE ACB, CL Sutha.
GE assessed the fluidity and quality of the entire meeting from staring point the opening by the toastmaster to the speech evaluations of the evaluators.

 GE highlighted strengths of joint meeting and provided specific suggestions for improvement.

Joint Meeting was truly fun and an educational event. Meeting was packed with unique  

speeches, constructive feedback and great a mentor ship.
