First Meeting - Navigate

23rd July was the first meeting of University Malaya Toastmasters Club. We finally got the ball rolling! As it was also the start of the semester, the theme 'Navigate' was chosen. Just as much as we needed new resolutions in the start of the year, we also need to plan for the semester ahead, hence, 'Navigate'.

TM Grace Kang as the Sergeant-At-Arms kicked the session off at approximately 5.27pm. She then handed the time over to the President, TM Kimmy Foo to deliver her presidential address.

As there were many new guests, TM Kimmy explained briefly the benefits of the Toastmasters Club especially UM Tmc besides asking them to state which faculty were they from.

The session was then handed over to TM Rishi whom was the Toastmaster of the Evening (TME). He started in humourous manner while explaining to the new audience what Toastmasters was all about. He also managed to explain the role players of the evening.
