Special Presentation Session
24th June 2008: Petaling Jaya
A special presentation session has been held by CC Su Mei and CC Min En in order to complete their Competent Leader. The presentation mainly focuses on methods to increase the membership of Toastmasters and the competencies of a club. It's a bright move to facilitate UM Toastmasters to achieve higher grade in the club, which will also indirectly positions the club to a better rating.

UM Pre-Employment Program 2008
4th June 2008: Auditorium, Fakulti Pendidikan, UM
There was also a membership drive presentation of the UM Toastmasters Club by TM Kimmy and CC Su Mei. The emcee of the day was TM Jessie Chew. At the end of the session, about 40 students had showed their interest to join the UM Toastmasters. An e-mail will be sent later on to these student as an invitation to be guests for our first meeting in July.
The presentation was a tremendous success, thanks to the 'joint venture' between MAICSA Toastmasters and UM Toastmasters.

There was a presentation held by MAICSA Toastmasters and UM Toastmasters under the Pre-Employment Program 2008 for the UM students who are graduating soon. The main objective of this presentation is to equip students to face the interview session and working environment confidently. The presentation was divided into three main topics:
(a) Goal Setting by DTM Vincent
(b) Presentation skills by CC Tharwah
(c) Communication skills by DTM Jessica
