UM Toastmasters meeting started in the room packed of guests and members. CC Ing Ting was TME of the Evening. Her conduct of a meeting was very smooth as she started with explaining the history of toastmasters and highlighted the meeting proceeding. CC Tan Ing Ting guided and entertained us throughout the meeting.

The first session of meeting was conducted by a new member, and a great addition to the team,TM Che Jin. He brought along some interesting Table Topics with him.

The first table topic speaker was a guest named Jian How. He talked about the rainy season and how he can sleep well in rainy season. He explained the advantage of rainy season, ''no water shortage".

The second Table Topics Speaker Robin was a guest from Taylor College. Her title was "The best movie you have watched". Her favorite movies was same as our tonight theme "Frozen".

Third speaker TM Kar Mei, appeared confident on the stage and talked about the good and bad aspects of winter.

Fourth Guest Table Topics Speaker Noami, was given a topic, "History of Christmas". Brave speaker explained the history of Christmas.

Project Speech Session started.




In this meeting we have two special Ice Breakers.


The first speaker TM Sam Win did his Ice Breaker speech on, "That's Me". The humorous speaker  was born in Puchong, he talked about his life and ambition. His interest includes making friends and taekwondo.

The second Ice Breaker was done by TM Elisha titled, "Quirks and Misfits". She had a good command of language and flow of speech was good. She talked about, life is about creating yourself. shared her interest like, listening old music, watching vintage movies and cooking to relive stress.

The third speaker was TM Sik How who told us about, "A Friend To Be Remember". Starting with outlining his best friends good qualities he shared tough times and dealing with chaotic situations.


The last speaker of the evening was ACS Heng Jing Yi. Jing Yi gave her inspiring speech on, " For a Living Planet" .She delivered her inspiring speech on saving endangered and extinct species.  She encourage audiences to save tigers by adopting them and stop buying animal skinned products.

The evaluation session was led by the General Evaluator, DTM Son Lee, who is a pleasant personality and energetic speaker.

In Toastmasters we learn by doing. By attending toastmasters meeting, whether you are playing a role or giving a speech, you will gain knowledge and experience.  So congratulations to all for being there.
