Second Meeting - Achievement

We had our second meeting on 21st July 2010 with the theme 'Achievement'. Each and everyone of us must have some kind of goal to achieve, right? Well, if you don't have a goal, then maybe you should find one as soon as possible - could be a short term or long term goal. Talking about goals, it's the end of World Cup 2010.

Other than that, the word of the day was 'Goal'.
Meaning : The purpose toward which an endeavor is directed: an objective. Example : He managed to achieve his ultimate goal of conquering Mount Everest by the age of twenty. Seriously? I wonder who is he?

The meeting was started at 5.40 pm, I know, I know, we are always 'on time'. President, TM Ras Hadi, no, CC Ras Hadi, gave a welcoming speech. The Toastmaster of the Evening was CC Ras Hadi who took over from the President CC Ras Hadi and both CC Ras Hadi's are the same. CC Ras Hadi also did a speech later on. And we got to stop with CC Ras Hadi...

The Table Topics Session was conducted by CC Jing Yi and the Table Topics Evaluation was done by TM, I repeat, TM Rishi. The topics and the Table Topics Speakers were as follows:

(a) Experience is the Best Teacher - TM Kah Fai

(b) The Goal of Life - TM Ivy

(c) Football - Dr Devi

The project speeches were as the following:

(a) CC Project #4 - How to say it - Title : Money - TM Kah Fai

(b) Speeches by Management#1 - The Briefing - Title : Introducing Prime Tourism - CC Ras Hadi

Sounds complicated? I agree - from one of the toughest advance manual. TM Kah Fai stressed that money doesn't make the world go round. On the other hand, CC Ras Hadi needed some employees for his tourism business. So he got us to listen to his speech and to be employed....ya!!

The General Evaluator was DTM Dr Devi. The speech evaluators were

(a) CC Jing Yi for the first speech

(b) DTM Dr Devi for the second speech

The role players were

(a) Chee Teng - Ah Counter

(b) CC Ivy - Grammarian

(c)ACB CL Nisha - Time Keeper

As you can see below, there are new columns on reactions. You can click on it if you find this post cool, funny or interesting. Other than that, you can click somewhere else...haha...
