Word of the day:Conform

Last meeting, we talked about decision making.What is decision making? In its simplest sense, decision making is the action of selecting among a few courses of action. However, we do not make the RIGHT decisions at sometimes. The decision we made may not bring any benefits to us. We therefore need some changes to present a better situation so that we can benefit more from the decision. Some of us used to be shy and afraid of speaking in front of public, we made the change and step forward, speak confidently in front of strangers, public. We have enhanced our speaking skills through Toastmaster Journey. This is the biggest changes we gained.

Today is the last meeting for semester 2, session 2012/2013.For UM students who are really wants to be a Toastmaster, we are still available in next semester. You can come visit us at next semester.The time and venue of our usual meeting for next semester will be announced at the end of semester break.

Table Topic section: Our Immediate past president, ACB CL Jing Yi was attempting table topic speech :What changes you want for the Malaysia education system?

TM Kevin was presenting his 10th CC Speech titled" What a university student can do?" Congratulation! You have achieved Competent communicator. You speech was amazing which inspired all the students in the house. We as university students can do lots of meaningful things!

CC Sara was presenting her AC Project No 2 titled" The Tree Wool". A nice story about wool. We UM Toastmasters will get to know more stories from Sara.

Our President CC Wei Chin unintentionally stood beside the slide written " Treat Guests Properly".  This is the evidence that We promise we will treat you nicely. If any guest think he/she is being treated improperly. You can charge future lawyer Wei Chin (Currently a student from faculty of law).;DDD 

Our Area Governor  ACB, CL Son Lee was giving general evaluation for the meeting!

The handsome Mr. Rolex Yahya was giving timer's report. He will be one of the UMTMC members. Welcome! Everyone give him a big huge please!

CC Kevin was receiving the best project speech award. Cheers!

At last, Group picture! Our president CC Wei Chin (White T-shirt in the middle) is like a flower. Very Cute.!!!!! UM　Toastmasters pls go clubbing during the semester break! Practice makes perfect! Theme: Making Decision

Word of the day:Accountable

Life is full of choices, you have to make numbers of decisions throughout your lifetime. What is decision making? In its simplest sense, decision making is the action of selecting among a few courses of action.  However, it must always be remembered that there may not always be a 'correct' decision among the available choices.  There may have been a better choice that had not been considered, or the right information may not have been available at the time. Decision making is a vital skills for everyone. Every Toastmaster experienced decision making during their toastmaster journey，especially the leadership training. Step out from the comfort zone and get involved in Toastmaster activities. Everyone toastmaster is great. You've made the ever cleverest decision in your life: to be a toastmaster!

Besides on the normal meeting! We had our Annual General Meeting! NEW Exco members have been elected. Here are the highlights during the meeting:

Our beloved Vice President of Education CC Yik Ming is the Toastmaster of the Evening!A nice and handsome toastmaster was on the stage!

The introduction section was fun. Everyone shared their personal experience of decision making.

The beautiful lady on the stage is the table topic master: TM Siau Inn.

CC Yew Yi was presenting table topic speech, something about took up the role of leader in teamwork.

TM Chen Long was attempting table topic speech!

ACB, CL Jing Yi was giving her AC project speech entitled " There's a Devil Inside Me". Fellow toastmasters, take care,devil was in the house! :D

CC Sara was giving general evaluator's report for the meeting!

Theme: Mother's Day

Word of the day: Encomium

Mother's Day is a celebration honoring mother and motherhood, maternal bonds, and the influence of mothers in society. The celebration of Mother's Day began in the United States in the early 20th century. The Mother's Day just passed by and the honoring of mum still remained. We set the meeting's theme Mother's Day.  Everyone was sooooo happy to share with us about their mums story. However, we should remember that everyday is Mother's Day. =D

It is UMTMC's pleasure, Big 3G was inside the house today! District Governor: DTM Ramdas; Division Governor: CC ALB Lay Theng; Area Governor: ACB CL Son Lee. Thanks for coming!

 Our beloved President CC Wei Chin was delivering the president's welcoming speech.! Full of laughter as usual! :D

 CC Sara is the table topic master of the meeting! Sweet table topics which is full of motherhood.

TM Kevin was presenting his CC project NO 9 titled " Servant to Others". One more speech to go for Competent Communicator rewards.

Another Competent Comunicator to be, TM Rukmony was presenting her CC speech No 9 titled " Yoga and Its Benefits for Our Health". Very Informative..Let's Yoga!

CC Sara was presenting her AC Project Speech No 1. It is a folk tale: Why the The Sea is Salty? Looking forward your further movement on your ACB journey.

 W 2 Area Governor Eric Low was giving evaluation on table topic section!Thanks for coming! Actually, we have 4"G" in the meeting!

Our club mum, Area governor, ACB, CL Son Lee was giving evaluation for TM Kevin's project speech. The evaluation is full of mother's love.

Our Club Advisor DTM Dr Devi was reporting grammar report! Many grammatical errors were detected. Salute! Hope everyone appreciate the grammarian's effort and learn something from the report!

District Governor DTM Ramdas was giving general evaluation! It is UMTMC's pleasure to have such "BIG" people in the house! Thanks again for coming!

CC Fatima, CC Sara, CC, CL Ing Ting was receiving the CC and CL rewards for Division Governor CC ALB Lay Theng.
