Every year teaches us some of life's most important lessons, and with that learning we put our step forward into the new year. May everyday of the new year glow with good cheer and happiness.

UMTMC's 100th Club Meeting

5 December 2011, Monday marked another milestone for University of Malaya Toastmasters Club as we celebrated our 100th meeting.

We were glad to have Distinguished Toastmaster Vincent Hor as our General Evaluator who was also the GE for our club's first meeting and Distinguished Toastmaster Dr Devi, our club advisor with her signature sandwich style evaluation. Speaking of sandwich, the meeting refreshment was too awesome to describe as Daddy Vincent brought us a big box of KFC and Dr Devi with her homemade sandwich.

Dr Devi's Retirement

We celebrated Dr Devi's retirement in this special meeting where we were also visited by a special guest, Mohd Arif from Qatar.

One important lesson learnt from Dr Devi's retirement speech,'No one will ever retire from the Toastmasters journey'. Although she has retired from work, she is now more dedicated in educating and enriching more people, and this inspires us to love what we do and do what we love.
