Word of the Day: Divagate

The theme of tonight meeting was GST. 

GST is a consumption tax based on the value-added concept. GST is imposed on goods and services at every production and distribution stage in the supply chain including importation of goods and services. 

Currently, Singapore, Australia, Thailand, China and Europe had implemented GST.

Suppliers, manufacturers,wholesalers and retailers are able to recover GST incurred on inputs. This reduces the cost of doing business, thus enabling fairer prices for consumers. 

Certain basic goods and services are not subject to GST for socio-economic objectives. 

These include basic foods, residential accommodation, education, health services, public transportation, and domestic consumption of water supply and electricity up to a certain limit.

1st Session of the Evening -- Table Topics session 

The evening became more fun when we moved to most exciting part of meeting ,

"The Table Topics Session". 

Table Topics is an excellent way for members to develop spontaneous speaking skills.

2nd session the Project Speech Session !!!

Tonight we have three Project Speech Speakers.

First speaker ACG ALB, Heng Jing Yi 

The first speaker ACG ALB, Heng Jing Yi presented a prepared speech from CC Manual, project no 5,

 Tilted : "A Mother's Gift". 

In her speech the bold speaker talked about the benefits of breastfeeding for mother and baby.

Best Gift is a Gift of Love!!!

Second Speaker TM Jacky Wong.

Second speech was done by an animated speaker,TM Jacky Wong. Speaker did his 1st speech from The Entertaining Manual called, , "Finding the Right Shoe".

In his speech he talked about originality, how to maintain focus on yourself and not to compare your success with others.

Great Take Home Message Delivered!!!

Third speaker ACB CL Sara Ajmal.

Third speaker ACB CL Sara Ajmal did her speech no 3 from the manual Specialty Speeches - Sell a Product, Tilted : "Shot on iPhone". 

She explained everything about iPhone, great apps, OS, camera features and other creative and productive aspects of smart phone.
