UM TMC was given the chance to organize the gift exchange session. Nyuk Jet and Rishi came to the venue as early as 6.00pm for the preparation of tagging gifts. In total, there were about 68 gifts received throughout the meeting and all the gifts were placed under the Christmas tree. As the meeting was on progress, the card numbers (in accordance to the total gifts received) were then distributed to the members to be chosen randomly. Thus, no one knows the gifts that he/she will be receiving. During the intermission, Jet and Rishi managed to re-arrange the gifts accordingly with some helping hands so that it would be easy to give it out. As soon as the intermission ended, they handed out the gifts quickly and succesfully.
Our President, CC Kimmy Foo, did her Advanced Communicator Manual No.3 - Story Telling with the title "The Cheerleader Who Couldn't Split". Her speech has made us forgotten all about the word of the day, as the word 'SPLIT' has dominated the meeting. Here SPLIT, there SPLIT, everywhere was the word - SPLIT. CC Kimmy Foo has been awarded as the Best Speaker of the Evening. Congrats Kimmy.
It was an exiciting joint meeting with 6 Toastmasters clubs, thanks to the main organizer - MAICSA Toastmasters Club. All the members had a smile and a gift in their hands at the end of the meeting.
