Theme: 6th Anniversary 

Word of the day:Jubilant

In conjunction with UMTMC 6th birthday, we set the theme of today's meeting: 6th Anniversary. UMTMC was founded on 18th, April, 2006. On this special jubilant day, I would like to call all the members to deliver a sincere " Happy Anniversary, Happy Birthday" to UMTMC. Today's meeting is full of fun, we have many guests from other extinguished toastmaster club. Certainly, nice food is a must at the special day. Here are the highlights of today's meeting:

 CC, Our beloved president Wei Chin is the toastmaster of the evening, one of the superstars in today's meeting.

General Evaluator CC Malcolm Sze, was reading the notes to the evaluator.

The guy in green, TM Joseph Wong was asking us to "go green".

"Toastmasters are Really Cool", TM Chee Sheng from TARC was presenting a cool speech titled "Mind your own mind" with cool pose.:D

CC Sara was attempting her 1st advance manual speech. Well done! Cheers

 Is this a cafeteria? Nope. This is the refreshement session UMTMC meeting.

 UMTMC Excos were taking photo in memory of this special day.

Everyone was enjoying the food, the time was up for the refreshment session at the time of taken this picture. Nobody was willing to get back to the seat. The Timer was on his position and play the right pressing the "buzzer" button. The timer was becoming annoyed at the moment. Sorry for disturbing enjoy food.

Theme: Empowerment Through Languages Skills

Word of the day:Power

It's been a long time that no update of the blog due to internet interuption. I would like to apologise for the discontinuous updates on what is going on in UMTMC. It kicked UMTMC loyal fans' heels. The theme of the meeting is " Theme: Empowerment Through Languages Skills". We Toastmasters are able to empower ourselves through the platform given by Toastmaster International. I strongly believe that every members have strengthened their communication skill and leadship during each past meetings. There are more room for us to grow as long as you have the faith."Power. Power, Power, never underestimate your power!" Here are the highlights during the meeting;

   DTM Dr.Devi is the Toastmaster of the Evening. Our beloved club advisor as well. Thanks a billion, Dr.Devi!

Theme:Enthusiasm

Word of the day: Rapture

The theme of the meeting is "Enthusiasm", it was inspired by a quote " NOTHING ever great achived without enthusiasm". If we inject more enthusiasm in developing commnucation and leadership skill, I definitely sure everyone of us can succeed in near future. I sincerely hope every members can develop themselves with rapture in University of Malaya Toastmasters Club.

The highlights of the meeting are shown below:

TM Agnes was presenting her 7th speech titled " You and My Eating Plan". A healthy speech as it delivered many tips regarding healthy eating.

 UM Toastmasters were listening attentively!

CC Wei Chin was giving evaluation on table topic session!

CC Fatima, the general evaluator was giving general evaluation! 

CC Sara, the best project speaker was receiving award from our President, CC Wei Chin.

DTM Dr.Devi, the best evaluator and table topic speaker was receiving the DOUBLE awards from the president.

Last but not least, the handsome and beautiful members and guests were standing in front and taking a group picture.

Theme:Productive

Word of the day:Fructify

As approach to the end of this semester, many submissions of assignments and reports are around the corner. Everyone is busy doing their projects and strive to achive outstanding grades. The theme of today's meeting coould help these young talents to learn from each other about productivity. Here I would like to wish everyone has excellent performance with their coursework. 

The highlights of today's meeting are shown below:

ACB,CL Jing Yi is the table topic master, the topics are well-prepared. What a fantastic table topics session ever!

CC Rishi was acting as the "prime minister" of the nation and talk about the national economic growth.

There must be a handsome guy present speech on the other side, all these pretties were staring..=)))

TM Kevin was presenting his project speech with a title "One day volunteering at Zoo Negara".

TM Sara was presenting the "Facts about coffee". Informative and illuminated speech. It just make me wanna have a cup of coffee.

TM Fatima was presenting a inspired speech "Dream".Hope all your dreams come true and you are going to be awarded as Competent Communicator soon!!!!!

Theme:Food

Word of the Day: Delectable

Food means everything to human beings. Everyone of us shared about our plan if we were given RM10 for tonight dinner. Majority of us prefer to buy a light meal as it was a dinner. Great! Everyone is trying to keep fitness. The impact of our last meeting still exsists. As Our Toastmaster of the evening said " Eating breakfast like a king, eating lunch like a normal human, eating dinner like a beggar." This is very true and healthy. Hope all of us keep in a healthy lifestyle.

Here are several highlights about our meeting!

TM Yik Ming is the toastmaster of the evening, and a "sick boy". Your  commitment for us should be awarded. Your contribution is highly appreciated and  hope you get well soon.

 TM Fatima presented her CC project speech #8 with a title: Facts about 7 ancient wonders. Very informative and we do learnt a lot of facts from you speech! Cheers!

TM Sara presented her speech: Live with Gratitude. A good research speech and it taught us many meaningful things. No doubtly we will live with  gratitude.

 CC Rishi played as the general evaluator tonight, hope to see you more and more often.!

Lastly will be the awards session.Guess who is the best table topic speaker,  project speker, and evaluator?

 Two best table topic speaker， namely ACB, CL, Jing Yi and TM Sara.!Well done!

TM　Sara is the one of biggest winner of this evening.! She has been awarded twice!!! Congraz!!!!!!!

 Another winner of tonight is our past immediate president ACB, Jing Yi, has been awarded as best evaluator..
