Trip to The Star on 1 April 2011
No joke although it's April's Fool. Just happen that it falls on the same date. It's a real trip.
University of Malaya Toastmasters Club is organizing a trip to the printing plant of The Star, to see how newspapers are being produced everyday. The trip itself is Free of Charge, but non-members of the club may have to pay for the transportation fee. The trip should take about 2 hours inclusive of transport time. The maximum number of people we can accommodate is 40, first come first served.
This is not a chance you get everyday, and this experience definitely cannot be learnt from books. See the rolls of newspaper, how they insert the colours onto blank papers, how they sort the papers, etc.
It'll be fun! Grab the chance! :)
